Girls Room Gallery Wall

My go-to when decorating big spaces are gallery walls, so, of course, I put one in my daughter’s bedroom. My goal was to not spend any money and make it personal, just like any other project I do. So first, I gathered up a bunch of frames in my house and made a layout on the floor. The large frame I actually made a few years ago from 2 separate frames and glued them together.

Once I had my layout done, I hung the frames. My tried and true method for hanging pictures is toothpaste. I put toothpaste on the back of the frame where the nail should touch and hold the frame against the wall exactly where I want it to hang. A small dot of toothpaste appears on the wall to let me know where to hammer my nail. This is a quick way of hanging frames without tons of measuring.

The large animal alphabet poster was given to me by my mother-in-law from when she taught elementary school. I have tried and tried to find another online but I haven’t had any luck, sorry.

The house print and the poem were pages from books I used to read when I was a little girl called. Book pages are great resources when looking to fill frames, especially in a child’s room.

The small square frames were purchased from The Dollar Tree a few years ago and my daughter picked out 2 of her favorite stickers to put in them. I’m just lucky they happened to match her decor.

The “You are Beautiful” print I painted myself on a poster board. I finished the wall off with a super easy DIY pom pom garland.
