Free and Easy Thanksgiving Decor

Free and Easy Thanksgiving Decor

I searched and searched the internet for Thanksgiving decor inspiration and found beautiful ideas I wanted to use but the problem was I didn’t have any of the materials I needed to create that decor. While searching online, I also stumbled upon this quote:
“If we don’t feel grateful with what we already have.
What makes us think we will be happy with more?”
-unknown
That quote probably has a deeper meaning behind it, but I used it to inspire my holiday decorating. Thanksgiving is about being grateful so why not be grateful with the decor I already had? So I shopped my house and decided I wasn’t going to buy anything new this season. It definitely made my decor more personal and simple. I love how it turned out.
I made the print on Microsoft Word. I typed out what I was thankful over the whole page. Easy and free.

One night my family and I wrote down things we were thankful for and stuck them in this jar with a few pinecones. Even my younger kids who can’t write, scribbled on paper and put it in the jar. Great activity with the kids.

I filled whatever I could with leftover Halloween pumpkins and pine cones I had in my Christmas decor. I used gold stickers to fill this small Dollar Store frame I had laying around the house.

Let us be grateful for what we already have this season. Happy November!
